In her professional roles she acts as a consultant, coach, and trainer to executives, senior staff, and management on issues regarding diverse, inclusive, and equitable programming, outreach, recruiting, and retention. She is also the resident diversity expert on the ABC show "Afternoon Live" in Portland, Oregon, and the best-selling author of the children's books "I Love Being Me" and "It's Nice to be Nice," which focus on embracing racial and ethnic diversity.
